The heart and soul of Zion Wilderness Survival School is found within the core teachings of Winfield Ivers Wilderness Survival Education. Winfield has been educating scouting groups, troubled teens, experienced hikers,
corporate employees and leaders, plus many others in the ancient art of wilderness survival for over 20 years. His keen survival knowledge and practiced techniques have helped many people learn how to enjoy and stay alive in the wilderness. His humorous and powerful way of linking the wilderness survival skills to the survival skills of daily life is always refreshing and unforgettable.
Zion Wilderness Survival School is headquartered in Ivins, Utah which lies in the distant shadows of breathtaking Zion National Park. We consider ourselves fortunate to have the beautiful southwestern part of the State of Utah as our central outdoor classroom.
